My brother came to live with us back in February right before Ethan's 5th birthday. He sold his house in Houston, was looking for a change and was hoping to find a job nearby so we could be closer. It is hard to search for a job, I know, especially in this horrible economy. There were some ups and downs in his job search. And, also, it's hard for 2 adults to live together, especially when one has a husband and kids!We were very happy to have him here with us and hoped he would find a great job and a place of his own nearby. Well, one of those wishes came true FINALLY after over 5 months , a great job came along with BC Technical. Unfortunately, it would mean he would not be living close by. But at least he'll in be within driviing distance in Atlanta- about 6 hours. The nice thing about him living in Atlanta is that we can go up to visit him and do some fun activities around there like the GA aquarium! We are very excited about that! My brother is so thankful that this new chapter is beginning in his life. He's searching for a great apartment and in the future hopes to adopt a dog. The wonderful thing about this job as opposed to his last one (which included A LOT of travel) is that he can put down roots and be able to make friends, have relationships and actually see those people on a regular basis! We are so happy for him and we knew all along something great was in store for him!
