My monkeys visit the Jax zoo!

On Friday, Feb. 18th, we headed to the Jax zoo after Ethan got out of school at noon. They were offering free ticket coupons so we figured we would take advantage of going before it gets too hot. The weather was perfect! The boys had so much fun checking out all the animals with mommy and Uncle Mike! After the zoo, we met Daddy at The St. John's Town Center for dinner at our favorite restaurant, PF Chang's.

Superheroes to the rescue!

My little Spidey and Iron Man!

I think with Nate Berkus in the background the unibeam and web thrower look a little less threatening, don't you think?

Time to take a load off. Superhero work is strenuous on the body and mind!

My boys love to play dress up. Why should it be just for girls?! They have a whole chest of Superhero costumes so they can change anytime they want! I think they are the most handsome Superheroes around!

My Tumblin' Tots

Getting some energy out when we arrive. Then it's time to line up!

Some line work first...the crab and the side skip.

Doing the army crawl. They heard there is a Warrior Dash in their future they need to train for!

Time to show off! Noah thinks this is a breeze and definitely his idea of fun!

Ethan is scared out of his mind! He does NOT like heights. But I am so proud of him for facing his fears!! He did such a great job and he's so brave.

Noah showing off with some backwards walking on the beam.

On Thursday nights since the beginning of January, Ethan and Noah have been going to Tumble Tots. It really gets their energy out and it teaches them that exercise is fun!  Coach A and Coach Keisha are really great with the kids. They give them a different thing to do each week. Last week was the parallel bars! I am not sure if we'll continue with Tumbling, but it's fun for them to try out new sports to see what they like the best. I am also proud of them for giving it their best efforts and, in Ethan's case, conquering some fears. Maybe next we'll try soccer camp!

Ethan is 5!!!

The bounce houses were a big hit with the kids! Especially the slide!

My little Star Wars birthday boy. 5!!!!

The cake we got at Sam's and put the figures on ourselves.
The cupcakes were by Sweetum Sweets. I bought the Star Wars liners and cupcake toppers are Williams Sonoma.
Ethan loved his cakes!
Some of our friends that came to the party: Mandie, Kayla, Lexie, Joyce and Bailey!
The birthday boy not looking at the camera, as usual, with some of his friends, Brayden, Logan, Alex and their siblings.

Zach and Hayden having some cake with Noah. Ethan can't believe all his great presents!

Ethan and Alex looking over Ethan's new birthday toys.

Ethan taking a shot at the pinata. His friend, Alex, ended up knocking it down! I wish I had gotten a pic of that!

Ethan had such a fun time at his Star Wars themed 5 year old birthday party. I can't believe my firstborn son is already 5! It really does go fast. We were so fortunate to be joined by many friends and family at Wickline Park in Flagler Beach to celebrate. I wish I had gotten a pic of all our friends at the party but I was so busy that I didn't get a chance! We grilled hot dogs and had beans, potato salad, chips and cake. It seemed like everyone had a great time. And, I am pretty sure all the kids went home completely worn out! Especially after spending so much time in the bounce house. We were also lucky the rain held off that morning!
